Sorry blogger world (i.e. family in CA) that I have been MIA on this here blog of mine. I've been busy with a toddler, enjoying the spring after a LONG Michigan winter, hitting up garage sales like crazy, and house-hunting. Before any more time passes, I wanted to at least get something up here...so I thought some photos would suffice for now. :-)

Kids really do grow up so fast, don't they? :-)


I have THE BEST HUSBAND EVER! He knew it was my heart's desire to attend my childhood best friend's wedding in CA this August. We didn't know if we'd be able to get me out there for it though...on Mother's Day he gave me such a wonderful gift - an airline ticket to CA in August (itinerary wrapped in a scroll, actually given to me the Saturday night before Mother's Day - he can't keep surprises in too long) :-)


"One man's junk is another man's treasure"...a garage sale find!


Moments after we found out we had a "verbal agreement" for an offer we made on a house (we were in Lowe's). Wow, our first house!! We are super jazzed. That dining room table now has a home too!


Scotty and Micah cleaning up the grill! We've had some mighty tasty meals this week! Oh yes, and Micah's Krsipy Kreme hat - he's fallen in love with hats these days.


Scotty promised long ago that he would teach me how to fish (I've never been before) - took almost 3 years of marriage, but now I know how to cast and reel 'em in (though I haven't caught anything yet).


Another of Micah's hats. He rarely leaves home without this one. It's actually a hand me down from another "Micah" from church. :-)
