Summer Days

July has provided lots of opportunity to be out and about, enjoying school break and longer days of sunshine.  I'm thankful to God for this more "restful" time to just be together as a family and see friends too.

Transitioned Noah to a big boy bed - new bedding from G&G Ruth

2yr check-up - fit as a fiddle and cute as can be!

Bubble Mower from Uncle Brad & DeeDee for bday.

Enjoying morning play in PJs.

Playdate with our twin cousins - baby Z.

Who doesn't love the swings?

Baby E.

Picnic lunch with DeeDee and the twins after playing hard :-)

Tire swing big enough for all 3!

Yummy - suckers from the bank.

Splash pad!

Storytime with daddy.

Homemade yogurt/blueberry popsicles (we picked 'em)!

Our Sunday to be Coffee/Cookie Servers at church - fun!

A friend's bday party - kids had a blast!

Coloring sheets from some friends at church.

Bandana siblings band together! ;-)

A "new" park (hadn't been for a couple years)...

...tons of fun and things to climb on too.

Enjoying family walks after supper.

May Was Great and June Is Through!

Near the end of Spring I absolutely dropped the ball on keeping up this here bliggity-blog.  It's probably due to the fact that we Michiganders were so excited to get out and about after our long, cold winter.  Well, even though we're right in the thick of summer, I want to press "rewind" and post some things from May/June.

First major injury!  Sprained elbow...

Traverse City and ice cream afterwards (FREEZING cold water still)!!

Yay for spring time walks again!!

Great find for Micah's schooling - $10 desk at a garage sale.

Absolutely lovely visit from great g'ma Aulner and g'ma Ruth :-)

New roof!

Our friend for the week - we filled it up with the roof and basement junk.
My parents came for a TWO week visit - woohoo!!
Windmill Island (with g'ma and g'pa).

Scotty and I had a weekend away - here we are at the dunes.
And my parents took them to the zoo while we were away.

Papa's story time :-)

Last night with my parents - eating out (yum).

Enjoying our local park.

Shooting hoops (daddy just taught him how to dribble).

Getting ready for family camp (see post here).

Cute as a button!!!

First time at library chess club (daddy just taught Micah over Easter).

First dentist appointment for Joy...

...and Micah.

Playdate with a friend (mall play place).

Storytime (everyone loves the opening - bubbles)!
Enjoying their outdoor driving toys.

Another play date with friends (splash pad).

Ice cream (of course)!

Shopping for fireworks - fun hats for kids and a real firetruck!

Stickered by Joy!!
