Our first week and a half at home!

Whew, it has been a long time since I've been in the groove of blogging, and I'm a little rusty. Even as I sit down to put up a post (Micah just went down for a nap so I have some time), I'm not sure where to begin - there's so much to update on! Life has been full, but really good!

First and foremost, Scotty, Micah and I are doing VERY well. We just thank God everyday for His love, care and provision toward us. We are so thankful for our house (which is already our "home"), one another, good food, fun family times, a job, friends and family, etc. All these things are a reflection of God's wonderful and consistent love for us as His children. (How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! 1 John 3:31a).

We have been living in our house for a week and a half now, and we are just loving it! Here are some of the "fun family times" we've already had in our humble abode...

A photo shoot our first night:

Micah watching Veggie Tales on YouTube on daddy's laptop while we unpacked:

Mommy and Daddy having moving night with a new projector we got and a white sheet. With Scotty's computer speakers and mini subwoofer, plus popcorn, we really felt like we were in a theater! And it only cost us a buck (Monsters vs. Aliens from RedBox):

Doing yard work (Micah thought this was daddy's "vacuum" at first):

A bonfire in our backyard:
