Though many of Micah's friends are toys, he has human friends too! Today Micah and I visited Rachel, the daughter of Reuben and Rebecca, Scott's and my friends. We met them in our Prepared Childbirth classes - when both Rebecca and I were great with child (Micah and Rachel)! The two little tikes, who are only 2 weeks apart in age, had a fun time together, eyeing one another, making noises at each other, playing with toys...They hadn't seen each other since October - so much has changed in both of them since then, like actually being aware of each other this time around (though it looks like Micah is choosing to ignore Rachel in this photo)...
Later on today, Scott and I had our friends Thomas and Ashley over for dinner. They're moving back to Texas in just a week and a half. Boy, we sure are going to miss them! Since moving to Chicago in August, they have been dear friends to us, and were some of the first to meet Micah after he was born.
