Pinewood Derby

Last weekend the Boys' and Girls' Club from our church had their annual Pinewood Derby as the grand finale for this year's season of club.  It has been a FABULOUS year!  God called me to serve in Girls' Club this year and it's been great.  Our theme was "Feed the Fire" by being people of PASSION:

• Pray Constantly: “Pray continually.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:17
• And 
• Study God’s Word: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” - Psalm 119:105
• Serve Others: “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, because you know that the Lord will reward each one of you for whatever good you do.” - Ephesians 6:7-8a
• Interact with God’s People: “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” - Hebrews 10:24-25
• Open up and Talk About God: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” - Matthew 28:19
• Notice God in the Ordinary: “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” - Jeremiah 29:13

No church event can be without food...
