Wedding Time!

Yesterday was Scotty's sister's wedding. We have all been looking forward to it, and Micah had been learning about it for quite some time. He knew DeeDee would wear a white dress, he could wear a tux, he would be able to eat wedding cake, that g'ma Sovilla and auntie Rachel and Uncle Luke would be in town, etc...I just now asked him what he thought of the wedding and he said, "It was nice." ;-)

Nice it was!! It was a day filled with beauty, celebration, enjoyment of one another and our great God, delicious food, new memories... A Bible passage that came up more than once yesterday was Isaiah 43:18-19, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?"

God has created a new family unit with Brad and Amanda and it is amazing! God used them so powerfully as singles to encourage others and proclaim His truth; now as a couple they are going to be the unstoppable dynamic duo!
